My Small Business Marketing Plan

Due to the recession period, lots of companies had to cut down on the number of their employees. So I agree with you that it is better to start a small business on the Net at this time. Everyone keeps saying that you can create your own security so I decided to try it.

I like writing and so I have decided to start a blog. I know this is not the easiest way but it appeals to me. I have worked for a SEO firm for almost a year, so I have a fairly good understanding about business strategies. My first job is getting traffic to my blog. You have to have people first before you can turn them into customers.

What's my marketing plan for my blog? My father is an agricultural specialist. He has a great passion for creating bonsai, and cultivating orchid and cactus. I love these plants too. So, I have picked these topics for my blog. I know that there are lots of people looking for information about bonsai and orchids. These plants are not easy to cultivate.

I hope to make money from adsense, affiliate links, selling eBooks etc. Eventually, I want to add these: pay per sale, selling ad space, pay per lead programs. After making enough money through my blog, my plan is to have a website of my own on this same theme. I would love to set up a store where I could sell products that will help my visitors grow bonsai, orchids and cacti.

It's fun to think about marketing my own small business. My father will be my "expert" guest who can share his extensive knowledge. I can hardly wait!
